Short-Intern Projects UrFU is a perfect opportunity for those who want to work on new projects, learn more about companies and industries in Russia, explore new country and culture and meet new friends.

The participants will gain academic and practical experience provided by qualified professors and lecturers. The working language is English. The majority of time students will spend working in laboratories or performing other practical activities under the guidance of their supervisors. For each track we organize virtual industry visits to the companies and areas that are related to its area of studies.  

In the following summer the list of tracks will include: 

• Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence in Power Industry
• Robotics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Medical Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Technologies
• Russian Language & Culture

The duration of work depends on a program. 

In the end of the course the participants will present their projects and receive a Certificate of training together with Letter of recommendation for admission to equivalent Master Degree Program at Ural Federal University. Successful projects can be published as as joint article of students and a supervisor.

Apart from productive lectures and workshops, there will be entertaining activities specially planned for the participants, which include Museum tours, trips to Nature Reserves, sport activities, gastro- and lifestyle experience.
