The Program Internships has been implemented by the Department of International Educational Programs for 7 years. 

This is a rare opportunity for students to get a practical training and work on the real cases of a foreign company in the professional field. 

UrFU Internship is a complex process which combines lectures, task solving, personal consultings and communication with clients (representatives from an Industry). 

Generally, the Internships are held at Ural Federal University in Ekaterinburg where students live and study for 4 months. In 2020-2021 students from ENSEA participated in our first Online Internship "Machine Learning in Power Industry" with industrial partner SVEL and it was a success. 

Students receive all required data from a client for the task solving. The process is carefully guided by the supervisors from UrFU and students receive advanced training on selected topics. 

The number of students is limited and requires certain knowledge mentioned in the descriptions of the Programs. 

Students have an opportunity to publish their results together with the supervisors in SCOPUS and other academic portals. 

Within the Internship program students can also experience life in a different country in its best becoming a part of UrFU and citizens of Ekaterinburg, whether the program is online or offline. 

After completing the Internship and presenting results, participants receive certificates from UrFU and Letter of Recommendation from an Industry client.

The previous Internships had some outstanding results with high impact on future career of the participants.
